Find the right workloads
Start with workloads where latency, autonomy, or safety make edge inference mandatory—quality checks on a line, safety interlocks, low-latency logistics decisions. Not everything belongs at the edge; pick the work that truly benefits.
Balance autonomy with control
Balance central vs. edge inference using governance and data quality controls. Autonomy without accountability is risk. Ensure models can be monitored, updated, and rolled back even when connectivity is intermittent.
Hedge against dependency
Plan sovereign and edge compute to reduce exposure to external APIs. Independence is a hedge against policy shifts and outages. Build local capabilities where continuity matters most.
sys3(a)i POV: We approach critical systems work by stress-testing architectures, integrating observability and governance from day one, and designing sovereign or edge footprints where independence and continuity matter most.
